It seemed as though Brendan Rodgers’ side would secure a fourth consecutive Scottish Premiership title without even playing a match last Sunday.
However, Hagi’s last-minute equaliser for ten-man theRangers against Aberdeen at Pittodrie last weekend put the celebration on hold, as the Ibrox club just delayed Celtic’s title party for at least another two weeks.]
The Scottish Champions now know that a draw or better against Dundee United on Saturday, 26 April, will secure their 55th league title and a sensational 11th trophy for Brendan Rodgers as Celtic manager.

However, fans are being asked to pay a premium for their spot at the title showdown in Tayside. Supporters in the upper levels of the Jerry Kerr Stand, where Celtic fans are typically located along with the Shed End, will pay £42, while those in the lower section will be charged £40. For this match, away supporters have been assigned sections in the Jim McClean Stand.
Tickets for the Saturday lunchtime encounter, which will be shown live on Sky Sports, are available at £25 for the upper tiers and £33 for the lower. Due to the large number of season tickets sold and the substantial away allocation, only about 500 tickets remain available for home supporters.

Prior to Celtic’s visit to Tannadice next weekend, the Hoops will face St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden on Sunday afternoon. A victory for Rodgers’ men will see the four-in-a-row Scottish champions be one game shy of clinching a sixth Treble in nine years.
Celtic will seek revenge on their opponents after suffering a 1-0 defeat at McDiarmid Park two weeks ago and a first defeat in Perth for nine years. A victory will set up a fairytale ending to what has been another trophy-laden domestic season.

Next time Dundee United visit Celtic Park their small band of travelling supporters might find out what it’s like to like to be charged £42 for a ticket.
