Chelsea have entered talks with Borussia Dortmund over a summer move for winger Jamie Gittens according to talkSPORT.

The Blues are set for another busy summer and could fund their business by selling as many as seven or eight players.

Chelsea face a critical window with the club looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.

Chelsea enter Gittens talks

The Blues have some big decisions to make in the wide areas, with Noni Madueke attracting interest from clubs, whilst they are yet to take a final decision on if they’ll keep Jadon Sancho.

Estevao Willian arrives this summer, whilst Geovany Quenda will arrive in 2026, with Mykhailo Mudryk’s future still unclear following a positive doping test.

Chelsea have been linked with Nico Williams and Alejadnro Garnacho, but the strongest links have been with Gittens.

TalkSPORT have now reported the Blues are in talks with Dortmund over a summer move for the 20-year-old winger.

The report adds Dortmund value Gittens at just £35m, with a key factor behind a potential exit a reduced role in the side.

The asking price has dropped drastically, with Dortmund thought to want €100m for one of their prized assets earlier in the season, and it’s believed the youngster wants to leave the club this summer.

Gittens certainly fits Chelsea’s recruitment criteria and the Englishman has enjoyed a productive season with 12 goals and five assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.

It’s been reported the Blues are favourites to sign the Dortmund star, although it’s arguable if another young winger is needed given Chelsea have Tyrique George on their books.

Chelsea and Dortmund could do plenty of business this summer, with the Bundesliga outfit keen to have Carney Chukwuemeka for another season, whilst there’s been rumours Sancho is keen on a return.
