When it comes to football, the Wright and Wright-Phillips seem to possess a lot of talent. This has also now been passed down to the next family member to be making a name for himself in professional football. D’Margio Wright-Phillips joined Beerschot on loan from Stoke City over the winter and made an instant impact for the Challenger Pro League leaders. The 22-year-old came off the bench to score in the 96th minute of the sides 4-1 win over RFC Liege.

Beerschot, under new head coach Dirk Kuyt, now sit top of the Belgian second tier with a point lead over second place Deinze. However, they also have a game in hand over the chasing pack. Despite losing head coach Andreas Wieland midway through the season, and still being up for sale by Sheffield United owner Abdullah Bin Mosaad Al Saud, the club from Antwerp have still managed to maintain a title challenge. After Wieland departed many expected them to drop off, but they have now put together a four match unbeaten run, with three wins and a draw in that time.
