Sunderland have secured the signing of defender Nordi Mukiele from Paris Saint-Germain, with the deal completed on Sunday.
The 27-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen alongside Granit Xhaka, has agreed a four-year contract with the Black Cats.

Mukiele began his career at Montpellier before moving to RB Leipzig, and later joined PSG in 2022.
Back in the Premier League following promotion, Sunderland opened their campaign with an impressive 3-0 home win over West Ham at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
According to reports, Sunderland and PSG agreed a fee of around €12 million for the Frenchman, who will wear the No. 20 shirt under head coach Régis Le Bris.
