Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of VfB Stuttgart's Bundesliga clash with Bayern Munich on Friday night, head coach Sebastian Hoeness guaranteed starts for Josha Vagnoman and Finn Jeltsch.
Vagnoman has struggled for a regular place in the starting line-up of late, but with Leonidas Stergiou ruled out through injury, he will get his chance.
"With Leo out, [Vagnoman] will play tomorrow and I hope he will take the opportunity," said Hoeness, who reiterated that he has "great confidence" in the right-back.
Finn Jeltsch, who made his first start last week following his winter move from FC Nürnberg, will retain his place at the heart of the defence.
"Yes, Finn will play," confirmed Hoeness, who believes Jeltsch has "played and trained well".
In addition to Stergiou, Stuttgart will be without Nikolas Nartey, Luka Raimund, El Bilal Touré, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Ameen Al-Dakhil.
