Bayern Munich and Chelsea are still discussing whether an option or obligation to buy will be included in the loan deal for Nicolas Jackson according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.

Jackson is expected to leave Chelsea before the end of the window, and he’s fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer.

The 24-year-old has almost certainly played his final game for the Blues and was left out of the squad for the game against West Ham on Friday.

Bayern Munich and Chelsea still discussing Nicolas Jackson deal

Chelsea are said to value Jackson at £80m, but at this late stage in the window it’s clear they are very unlikely to get that price.

The Blues are now said to be open to a loan for Jackson, but would be expecting a hefty loan fee, reportedly worth £10m.

Jackson has attracted interest from a number of clubs both in the Premier League and Europe, however it appears he’s decided on his next destination.

Bayern Munich have agreed personal terms with Jackson, and are in discussions with Chelsea as some details still need to be finalised before the deal can be signed off.

Plettenberg has reported the clubs are still discussing whether an option or obligation to buy will be included in the loan deal.

Chelsea will want an obligation, because without that they run the risk of having to try and sell Jackson next summer.

Christopher Nkunku close to joining AC Milan

Jackson isn’t the only attacker Chelsea are trying to move on before the end of the window, with Christopher Nkunku also falling into that category.

Chelsea have made it clear they are only interested in a permanent transfer, whilst Bayern Munich and Leipzig were only looking at a loan deal.

However, AC Milan have now come in and are advancing on a deal which could be worth around £34.5m, with Nkunku close to agreeing terms on a five year contract.
