He will add power, presence and defensive cover to the side. He could be the ideal partner for players like Kobbie Mainoo. They are reportedly keeping tabs on his contract situation.

The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at the German club, and he is no longer a regular starter for them. A move away from Germany would be ideal for him. Manchester United could be an exciting destination for him, especially if they are willing to provide him with regular game time.
