After falling 2 - 0 to Tottenham in Round 2, City were beaten again on Sunday by Brighton 2 - 1 leaving them 6 point behind leaders Liverpool.

Last season, Guardiola’s side finished 13 point adrift of Liverpool raising fresh concerns about their ability to challenge this term.
