Inter Milan and Italy defender Alessandro Bastoni is back in training after an injury scare in yesterday’s Serie A win over Parma.
This today according to Italian media outlet FCInterNews. They report that the 25-year-old was part of today’s training session with his teammates.
Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni went off in the 74th minute of yesterday’s Serie A match against Parma.
And reportedly, the reason for the change was not tactical. Nor was Bastoni just getting a rest in the closing stages of the match.
Rather, the Italy star had reportedly felt some tightness in his right thigh. Inter beat Parma 3-1 in the Serie A clash at the San Siro.
According to FCIN, though, Bastoni caught any muscle problem that he had in time. The outlet reports that the former Atalanta man trained normally despite the injury scare.
This is certainly good news for Inter coach Simone Inzaghi. Bastoni is a key member of the regular Nerazzurri starting eleven.
And the 25-year-old should certainly be ready for Inter’s next match. That is away to Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Inter also have matches against Lazio in Serie A and Udinese in the Coppa Italia just around the corner.
