Lautaro Martinez trained normally with the rest of the Inter Milan squad today despite an injury scare against Monza yesterday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They also report that midfielder Piotr Zielinski will have to undergo medical tests tomorrow.

Inter Milan had a couple injury issues in yesterday’s Serie A clash with Monza.

First of all, there was a problem for Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez. The Argentine had a muscle problem late in the match, although he was able to see it out.

Meanwhile, midfielder Piotr Zielinski came on as a substitute for Inter. However, the Pole suffered a calf problem.

Lautaro Martinez Back In Training After Inter Milan 3-2 Monza

According to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Lautaro Martinez has already returned to training.

The Argentine was only dealing with some minor muscular fatigue in yesterday’s match.

However, that has not kept Martinez from returning to full training with the rest of his teammates in today’s session. The Nerazzurri are straight back in training ahead of Tuesday’s match against Feyenoord.

It is a different story for midfielder Piotr Zielinski, however.

The 30-year-old suffered a calf problem just a couple minutes after entering the pitch yesterday.

The exact nature and severity of the problem is not yet clear. However, Zielinski is not in training today.

The Polish international will undergo tests with the Inter medical staff tomorrow.
