Should Arsenal look in-house to replace Edu instead of a stranger?

Arsenal has wasted no time in navigating the aftermath of Edu Gaspar’s unexpected departure as the club’s sporting director, with discussions already underway about his potential replacement. Edu, a key figure in Arsenal’s resurgence under Mikel Arteta, played a pivotal role in the club’s recruitment strategy and overall sporting direction. His resignation has understandably sent ripples through the organisation, but reports suggest the Gunners may already have a successor within their ranks.

According to Standard Sport, Jason Ayto, Edu’s deputy, is a strong contender to step into the role.
