Several Milan players could be involved in their final San Siro outings as a managerless Rossoneri take on Monza in their last match of the 2024-25 season on Saturday evening.

Serie A action resumes with Bologna-Genoa and then Milan-Monza after Napoli’s Scudetto-winning victory over Cagliari at the Stadio Maradona on Friday night. Inter have finished the season in second place despite a 2-0 win away against Como.

Head coach Sergio Conceicao is suspended for Milan’s match at home against Monza on Saturday evening after his dismissal during the 3-1 loss against Roma in the penultimate round of Serie A fixtures.

He signed a contract until the summer of 2026 after replacing Paulo Fonseca at the end of 2024, which also included an option to terminate their agreement at the end of the 2024-25 season.

Kyle Walker is also not expected to be involved in the starting line-up, and is expected to return to parent club Manchester City once his loan is up at the end of the season.

Several Milan players have been linked with moves away from San Siro as a result of the team’s lack of continental qualification this season, including Tijjani Reijnders, and more recently Rafael Leao.

Reijnders is expected to start against Monza on Saturday evening, likely alongside his regular midfield partner Youssouf Fofana. Pre-match reports suggest that Yunus Musah and Davide Bartesaghi will provide the width from wing-back.

Christian Pulisic is expected to start in attack, with Joao Felix in line to play alongside him and either Luka Jovic or Francesco Camarda according to Sky Sport Italia. Santiago Gimenez misses out through suspension.

Kick-off is due at 19.45 BST.
