Amidst a breakthrough season, Senny Mayulu (17) is set to sign a first professional contract at Paris Saint-Germain later this week, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
Luis Enrique has given opportunities to young players this season, especially in the back half of the campaign. As well as Yoram Zague, who netted his first professional goal, on his 18th birthday, against OGC Nice on Wednesday, Mayulu has also been given a chance to impress this season. In nine first-team appearances, the France U19 international has one goal and one assist.
The midfielder is now set to turn down offers from big clubs across Europe, notably Borussia Dortmund, and sign his first professional deal with his formative club, PSG. The attacking midfielder, who turns 18 on Friday, has been convinced to remain at the Parc des Princes by Luis Enrique, whose words and actions have played a big part in keeping Mayulu at PSG.
