Inter Milan have sold out the San Siro for matches against Cagliari in Serie A today and Bayern Munich in the Champions League this week.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the excitement around the Nerazzurri fans is at a fever pitch.
Inter Milan take on Cagliari in Serie A this evening.
There is a sense that this will be a hugely significant match for the title race. Inter must take three points if they’re to keep Napoli at bay in the table – and keep the pressure on ahead of the Partenopei’s clash with Empoli.
Inter host Cagliari at the San Siro this evening.
And then, the Nerazzurri will play at their home stadium in just a few days. On Wednesday, they host Bayern Munich in the second leg of a Champions League quarterfinal tie.

Inter’s last couple matches have been away from home.
The Nerazzurri squandered a 2-0 lead to draw away to Parma. And then, they got a 2-1 win in the first leg of a huge European knockout tie against Bayern.
These two results both emphasized the pitfalls Inter face amid the intensifying fixture list, and the sense that trophies are now within the team’s grasp.
And now, the Inter fans will have the chance to urge the team on in key matches at home.
Therefore, it is little surprise that the Gazzetta reports that the San Siro will be packed for both of Inter’s next two matches.
