Arsenal were handed a golden opportunity to put even more daylight between themselves and Real Madrid early on at the Bernabéu.
However, their star man picked the worst possible moment to try something new from the penalty spot.

After being handed the ball by captain Martin Ødegaard, Bukayo Saka proceeded to try and chip Thibaut Courtois with a panenka-like effort.
The Real keeper swatted the ball with relative ease, leading to raucous cheers from the home fans and a huge sigh of relief from Raúl Asencio, who had foolishly given away the penalty.
It's been a frantic start to this game, and Arsenal are still in a commanding position, but will they live to regret that moment tonight?
