Roma to secure new striker by the end of the week | OneFootball

Roma are looking to strengthen the squad at Gian Piero Gasperini’s disposal.

With only one week to go until the start of preseason, the Giallorossi have yet to complete an official signing.

Following the exit of Tammy Abraham and the imminent departure of Eldor Shomurodov, one of the main areas Roma wish to focus on is the attack.

According to Leggo, the Giallorossi are monitoring three profiles: Nikola Krstovic, Georges Mikautadze and Lorenzo Lucca.

The Georgian, on his way out of Lyon, currently represents the most viable option. Gasperini, however, also appreciates Krstovic, who Lecce continues to value at 35 million: a high figure, but one that could be trimmed down by bringing in some technical counterparts from the Primavera.

The newspaper reports that people close to Roma confirm that a decision is expected by the end of the week.
