Roma players sent special farewell messages to Daniele De Rossi following the announcement of his departure.

The Roma boss was sacked earlier this morning and replaced by Ivan Juric.

In the meantime, the likes of Lorenzo Pellegrini, Bryan Cristante, Gianluca Mancini, Angelino and more posted thank you messages on Instagram.

“Thank you for everything you have always been with me…” wrote Pellegrini. “You’ve been a point of reference since I was little, a companion and friend, a captain, a coach. I wish you the best because you deserve it as a Man and as a Professional and I am sure that you will achieve everything you want. Good luck Mister. I love you Daniele.”

“I will always be grateful to you for everything you have done for me and for your ROMA,” wrote Paredes.

“Thank you very much for everything mister! I arrived at this great club thanks to you and I will always be grateful. I wish you all the best for you, your family and your staff! I hope our paths cross again,” wrote Angelino.

Cristante wrote, “Thank you mister for these months spent together and for everything you have given us.”
