Roma and Flamengo are working to find an agreement for Wesley’s transfer to the Italian capital.

The full-back is Roma’s number one priority to strengthen the right flank.

With preseason set to kick off today, Roma want to accelerate in their talks for Wesley.

According to Il Messaggero, Wesley has already accepted Roma’s offer, a five-year contract worth €2 million per season.

Flamengo are no longer asking for €30 million but appear willing to drop to €25 million to close the deal.

In short, the deal has never been so close. Barring any unexpected developments, the Brazilian will soon be a new Giallorossi player.
