Rodrygo uninterested in Tottenham Hotspur move despite club enquiry | OneFootball

Tottenham Hotspur have enquired over a move for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo (24), but the Brazil international has no interest in joining Thomas Frank’s Spurs, according to a report from Foot Mercato. The future of Rodrygo with Los Merengues is reportedly up in the air in the Spanish capital. The winger scarcely featured during the Club World Cup despite Kylian Mbappé’s absence due to food poisoning.

Rodrygo’s Real Madrid contract runs until 2028. The 24-year-old winger has logged 68 goals and 51 assists in 270 games played for Real. Given his age and his potential, Real Madrid would command a significant transfer fee for parting ways with Rodrygo. Interest from Premier League has been well documented as Liverpool reportedly opened talks with the player’s entourage. The Reds are expected to bolster Arne Slot’s options up front as Luis Diaz will leave for Bayern Munich, whereas Federico Chiesa and Harvey Elliott may also leave Anfield.

Foot Mercato reports that Tottenham Hotspur have enquired over Rodrygo, although no talks are currently ongoing. The player has reportedly no interest in joining the North London side as he’s reportedly aiming for a “bigger” club than Thomas Frank’s side.
