Napoli have a specific plan in mind to sign Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi.

Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, report that the Partenopei will aim to meet Inter’s asking price with a loan-with-obligation formula.

Napoli are reportedly keen to sign Inter midfielder Frattesi.

The Italian international is reportedly getting closer and closer to the exit door at Inter. Whether that is in the January transfer window, or next summer.

Frattesi’s desire for more playing time is the driver for this.

Inter are not going to let Frattesi go for cheap, however.

The Nerazzurri reportedly want a fee in the region of €50 million to sell the 25-year-old.

Therefore, it would be a tough deal for Napoli on a financial level.

But according to Il Mattino, the Campanian club have a plan for an offer that would bring the fee within reach for them.

Firstly, the newspaper report, Napoli are willing to offer an initial loan deal for Frattesi. Then, there would be a purchase obligation. This would be mandatory and not an option.

And the total fee would be spread out over two years per the Partenopei’s offer, reports Il Mattino.
