Revealed: German Media Gives Latest on PSG, Lucas Hernandez Rumors

The French media revealed that Paris Saint-Germain had reached an agreement with Bayern Munich center-back Lucas Hernandez. However, in Germany, the football media is painting a different story.

Tobi Altschäffl and Christian Falk reported on Friday that Hernandez and PSG had not reached an agreement despite what the information in France says.

Furthermore, Bayern Munich is unaware of this and there’s considerable amazement at the German club regarding the recent rumors. However, the two journalists revealed that the 27-year-old is close to extending his contract.

Hernandez’s contract expires next year, and it seems PSG wants to swoop in to take a player who will play the 2023-24 season on an expiring deal. On the other hand, the French defender could be using the capital club to secure better contract extension terms.

Nonetheless, these next few weeks will determine what happens as sporting advisor Luis Campos could be moving fast to show Kylian Mbappe he’s serious about building a team that can challenge for the UEFA champions League trophy next season.
