FC Twente attempted to acquire Couhaib Driouech from PSV. This was reported by Tubantia (via VoetbalPrimeur). The Tukkers’ bid had little effect, with PSV unwilling to let the Dutch-born Moroccan winger go.
PSV signed Driouech from Excelsior in the summer of 2024, and in his first year in Eindhoven, the left winger played sparingly. Twente don’t have many wing options, and hoped to benefit from the player’s lack of gametime.
Joseph Oosting recently ‘knocked on the PSV door’, according to Tubantia. Whether Twente wanted to rent or buy Driouech, the local newspaper did not disclose. PSV immediately rejected the move.
Although Driouech has little future playing under current trainer Peter Bosz, PSV still see a future in him. Twente can now continue the search for a new winger, although Tubantia did not mention other potential candidates.
