Report: Super agent set to offer Chelsea chance to sign 19 g/a Champions League star | OneFootball

RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons prefers a move to the Premier League this summer, and his agent Ali Barat is set to offer him to Chelsea according to reports.

Chelsea have already been busy this summer, and have made three attacking signings in Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro.

The Blues haven’t ruled out signing another attacker, whilst they are also said to be in the market for a left sided defender to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.

Chelsea reportedly want as many as eight or nine attacking options in their squad to rotate between next season.

Noni Madueke has left for Arsenal, whilst Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix are expected to leave, with questions also surrounding Nicolas Jackson’s future.

Chelsea were linked with Mohammed Kudus, who’s now joined Tottenham, as well as Hugo Ekitike who appears to be closing in on a move to Liverpool.

Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers has been described as a “dream” target, but it appears there could be another name of interest.

According to Bild Via GGFN, Simons’ agent Barat is set to offer the attacking midfielder to Chelsea, and his preference is a move to the Premier League.

The report adds Leipzig will want significantly more than the €50m they paid to sign the Dutch international from PSG in January.

Simons, who has been previously linked with Chelsea can also play off the left scored 11 goals and registered eight assists in 33 appearances in all competitions last season.

Morgan Rogers dream target

Whilst Chelsea could be offered the chance to sign Simons, Rogers is high on their list of targets, although any potential move could be difficult.

Villa are thought to want around £80m for the England international, and it’s been reported if they make an approach for Jackson, the Blues will respond with an offer for Rogers.

Rogers would fit in well at Chelsea given his quality and versatility, whilst he already knows a number of players at the club, and it will be interesting to see what happens.
