A surprise move for Ademola Lookman wouldn’t get in the way of Inter Milan’s pursuit of Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
The last couple of days have seen dramatic developments regarding Inter’s summer transfer window.
Reportedly, the Nerazzurri are pushing to sign Nigerian international forward Ademola Lookman from Atalanta.
The 27-year-old will not come cheap. Atalanta want €50 million, whilst Inter have not exactly balked at that valuation, reportedly opening with a €40 million bid.

A big investment in signing Lookman would raise some questions about the rest of Inter’s summer spending.
After all, for weeks the Nerazzurri have been making Parma defender Giovanni Leoni their priority target at the back.
And Leoni certainly will not come cheap. Inter are ready to spend at least €30 million to sign him, whilst Parma reportedly want €40 million.
Therefore, if Inter are to spend big on Lookman, their financial wiggle room would undeniably decrease – potentially an issue in their pursuit of Leoni.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, however, Inter will not drop their pursuit of Leoni. Rather, they can always drum up cash by making some sales this summer.
