Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is expected to leave the club permanently at the end of the season, and he wants to join Barcelona.
According to a report from Spanish publication SPORT, the 27-year-old’s representatives have informed the club that he wishes to join them in the summer.
Rashford is willing to make a financial sacrifice in order to get the deal done as well. He is open to reducing his wages in order to make the deal financially acceptable for Barcelona. Barcelona are going through financial difficulties, and they will not be able to pay over the odds for the England International.
Rashford does not have a future at Manchester United, and he has been sent out on loan to Aston Villa. He has done quite well for the West Midlands club, but he wants to join a big club capable of fighting for trophies. Barcelona could be the ideal destination for him.

He has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in La Liga, and he could be an important player for the Spanish club. He was one of the best attackers in the Premier League recently, and he will be hoping to get back to that level once again. A fresh start could be ideal for him. It remains to be seen whether Barcelona come forward with an official offer to get the deal done.
Rashford is capable of operating anywhere across the front three, and his versatility will be a bonus for Barcelona if they can get the deal done. They need a dynamic attacker like him. The player is at the peak of his powers, and he will look to make an instant impact in La Liga. There is no doubt that he has the quality to play for a big club like Barcelona.
