Inter Milan are reportedly working behind the scenes to secure the signature of PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. they report that the 25-year-old is very much on Inter’s radar, possibly even as a free transfer in 2026.

Yesterday, Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio was in a somewhat coy mood when asked about Inter’s search for a goalkeeper.

The Nerazzurri executive said that signing a player for between the posts is far from a priority.

However, Ausilio did not exactly rule out a move for a new shot-stopper in the foreseeable future.

According to Tuttosport, that is currently the temperature of Inter’s efforts to sign Paris Saint-Germain keeper Donnarumma.

The newspaper claim that the Italian international really is a target for Inter.

The Nerazzurri are big admirers of Donnarumma. And they do sense that there is a chance to sign the former AC Milan keeper.

At present, Donnarumma’s contract with PSG runs out at the end of June 2026. Therefore, in the foreseeable future, he could leave the French capital via the same route he arrived – on a free transfer.

However, Tuttosport note, Inter are hardly pushing for the transfer of Donnarumma.

The Nerazzurri are working patiently to see if they can tempt the Italian international into a move. Then, they could wait for the right moment to strike.
