Inter Milan starlet Francesco Pio Esposito will reportedly miss the upcoming U21 Euro due to a knee injury.
Per the Football Federation’s official statement via FCInterNews, Esposito suffered a knee sprain in his penultimate appearance for Spezia.
Heavily linked with a move to several Serie A clubs, Francesco Pio Esposito could be in for a hot summer.
Indeed, his future has been among the major talking points in the early transfer window.
However, Inter have yet to decide whether to sell the 19-year-old, who only recently pledged his future to the club until 2030.

After a sterling breakout season in Serie B, Esposito should have been among the protagonists at the upcoming Euros.
However, a knee sprain will prevent him from participating in the tournament.
Indeed, he picked up an injury during the first leg of Spezia’s playoff final against Cremonese.
Despite scoring in the return fixture, Esposito couldn’t help the Aquilotti return to the top flight.
Therefore, he will return to Inter to discuss his immediate future with the club.
