Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi is set to return to individual training soon as he recovers from surgery.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi has been dealing with a persistent abdominal problem.
The former Sassuolo midfielder suffered the issue during Inter’s Champions League semifinal tie against Barcelona.
Specifically, Frattesi suffered an inguinal hernia. This plagued him through the last few weeks of the season.
Furthermore, the Italian international was unable to feature at the Club World Cup. He returned early from the United States.
Therefore, in the end, Frattesi underwent surgery to correct the issue earlier this month.

Frattesi is still recovering from his surgery. Therefore, the Italian international is not part of preseason training.
And it will still be a few more weeks before Frattesi can return to the pitch.
However, the former Sassuolo midfielder can return to training soon. Not with the rest of the group, but individually.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, the 25-year-old has all but completed his pre-training rehabilitation process.
Therefore, the newspaper anticipate, Frattesi should be at Inter’s training ground to start his individual work soon.
