It’s no secret that Inter and Milan are hellbent on purchasing the San Siro stadium and its surrounding areas.

However, local authorities have thrown a spanner in the works, prolonging talks and obstructing the club’s plans.

Yet, a long-awaited resolution could be around the corner.

The Europa Verde motion dates back nearly a year, containing passages that reflect the time elapsed since its drafting.

Meanwhile, Federico Fedrighini’s resolution is more recent.

However, it faced two postponements before being debated in the council.

Now, Urban Planning Assessor Giancarlo Tancredi conveyed the administration’s disapproval of both proposals.

Therefore, it could only be a matter of time before Inter and Milan get permission to buy the area and build a new stadium.
