Midfielder Petar Sucic will take the place of Davide Frattesi in the Inter Milan next season.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter are all set to sign midfielder Petar Sucic next summer.
Reportedly, the 22-year-old will undergo his medicals tomorrow. And then, he’ll be in the squad in time for the Club World Cup at the end of the season.
One thing that seems clear is that Inter see Sucic as a part of the first-team plans for next campaign.
The Nerazzurri are not signing the Croatian international with the intention of just sending him out on loan or waiting on his development.
The question therefore is exactly how Sucic will fit into Inter’s squad next season.
The Croat is versatile and can play a few different roles in midfield.

But at least in terms of the numbers, the Gazzetta anticipate that Sucic will take the place of Davide Frattesi.
Frattesi stayed at Inter in January. But there’s a strong feeling that that only delayed the inevitable as far as the former Sassuolo midfielder’s exit.
Frattesi will push for a transfer next summer. Therefore, Sucic will take his place.
