Report: Chelsea receive contact from Man United intermediaries over £45m transfer | OneFootball

Manchester United are asking intermediaries whether Chelsea are still interested in Alejandro Garnacho according to reports.

The Blues have had a busy start to the summer and have already made three attacking signings in Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro.

Chelsea face an important window and could look to add another attacker, whilst they are also in the market for a centre back to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad for next season.

Man United ask if Chelsea are still interested in Garnacho

Despite already making three attacking signings it’s not been entirely ruled out another attacker could arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Chelsea are interested in West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus and have been offered the chance to sign the Ghana international.

Malick Fofana reportedly remains an option, whilst there are still links to Garnacho, although that would appear less likely given the signing of Gittens.

Chelsea were strongly linked with Garnacho in January, and the Argentine has continued to be mentioned as a possible target, with a reported price tag of around £45m.

Garnacho was told to find a new club this summer by Ruben Amorim, and Give Me Sport have reported the Red Devils are asking intermediaries if the Blues are still interested in Garnacho.

The report adds United are monitoring Chelsea’s outgoings and want to know once and for all if a move to Stamford Bridge is a possibility for Garnacho.

Chelsea face Kudus competition from Tottenham

It’s been reported Chelsea want as many as nine attacking options in their squad next season, with Kudus a potential option.
