Stengs was close to making a €8m switch to the MLS with Charlotte FC last year; however, the player decided to remain at Feyenoord before a four year deal could be completed. Celtic could land the player for somewhere less than this, especially if he has a year left on his deal as has been suggested.

Celtic fans may remember the winger from the Champions League campaign two seasons ago in which Stengs opened the scoring in a 2-0 win for the Dutch side. Since joining from Ligue 1 side Nice in 2023, Stengs has made 59 appearances for Feyenoord, scoring 9 times and assisting on 21 occasions.

The report is vague and it isn’t coming from Mark Hendry, which is a distinction from the JSP and Osmand stories. However, fan media is growing to become more mainstream and it would be good if another fan media outlet have positive news about the club’s transfer business.
