Report – Bologna & Udinese Stars Top Inter Milan Shortlist To Rejuvenate Defence | OneFootball

Sam Beukema and Oumar Solet are the two main targets for Inter Milan as they aim to rejuvenate their defense this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan are all but certain to sign a defender this summer.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly ready to keep both Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij. That’s in spite of the fact that the veteran pair will turn 34 and 38 next season respectively.

However, that does not mean that Inter will not need to inject new blood in their backline.

Therefore, Inter are targeting a major defensive signing.

The priority for Inter will be to sign a defender who is young, as they want a long-term heir to de Vrij and Acerbi at the back.

And there are a couple players who have convinced the Nerazzurri in Serie A.

One is Bologna defender Sam Beukema. The Dutchman arrived at Bologna in the summer of 2023, and has made a big impact as the Rossoblu have secured Champions League football.

Then, former Red Bull Salzburg defender Oumar Solet only arrived in Serie A a few months ago.

Udinese brought the Frenchman in during the January. But already, he has marked himself out as a transfer target for Inter.
