Borussia Dortmund’s asking price for Chelsea target Jamie Gittens has been revealed according to reports in Germany.
Gittens is said to be one of five attacking players on Chelsea’s shortlist and the winger is attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Chelsea were linked with a move for the 20-year-old in January, but nothing materialised, and competition for his signature in the summer is set to be fierce.
The Blues were looking at signing a left winger and a striker in January, and were linked with a host of names including Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho and Liam Delap.
The club opted against signing an attacker, and it’s claimed they felt there were a lack of good value options on the market.
Chelsea are said to have laid plenty of groundwork for deals in the summer, with the conversations they held in January, but only time will tell whether that work will pay off.

Gittens is another hugely talented player and it’s no surprise that he’s on Chelsea’s radar, the winger has seven goals and four assists in 21 Bundesliga appearances, whilst he’s also shone in the Champions League with four goals and an assist in nine games.
The winger is set to command a big fee in the summer and he’s currently under contract with Dortmund until 2028.
However, Sport Bild as cited on X.com have reported that if Dortmund fail to qualify for the Champions League, then they are planning to sell one of their top players.

The report adds Gittens is the most likely candidate, with Bayern Munich also interested and Dortmund are said to want between €80-€100m.
Gittens plays on the left and it’s an area Chelsea are targeting given it’s unclear how long Mykhailo Mudryk is going to be sidelined for following a positive doping test.
