Arsenal have been hugely affected by injuries to some of their key players this season.

Mikel Arteta’s team have been unlucky with fitness issues to some of their most important players.

The likes of Martin Odegaard, Mikel Merino, Riccardo Calafiori and other players have missed some part of the season with injuries.

The Gunners are currently fourth in the Premier League and expected to challenge for the league title again but the fitness of their players have had a massive impact on their form and results.

Now, they are expected to miss one of their key members of the squad for the next three months.

According to Daily Mail, Gunners star Ben White will miss the next three months after undergoing knee surgery.

The English defender was having trouble with his knee for some time and that had affected his form.

White has been a regular member of the Arsenal starting line up for the past two seasons and has helped the Gunners to challenge for the league title.

The right-back has been out of form this season and the club finally decided to address his long term knee issues.

The Gunners are lucky to have Jurrien Timber in their squad as well who can play as a right-back as well as a left-back and he will now take White’s place in the starting line up.

The Dutchman’s form has been impressive whenever he has got the chance to prove himself.

The Arsenal manager revealed last month that White will be out for months as he recovers from a knee issue but now Daily Mail have suggested that it could take the defender three months to recover.

The former Brighton man was one of Arsenal’s best players this season and his absence will be felt by the squad as they mount another title challenge.

The Gunners face West Ham United in their next match in the Premier League and they will be confident to keep up their impressive form after thrashing Sporting 5-1 in the Champions League this week.
