Joaquin Correa will reportedly rejoin the Inter Milan squad for Monday’s home league match against Fiorentina.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, tomorrow’s clash at Stadio Artemio Franchi will come too soon for the Argentine.
However, Simone Inzaghi should have the 30-year-old forward at his disposal for the return fixture next week.
Indeed, Joaquin Correa is on the verge of recovery.
He last featured for Inter in a 3-1 home victory against Serie A newcomers Parma in early December.
Correa succumbed to a calf injury at the start of the new calendar year.
Despite his bit-part role in Inzaghi’s system, the Argentine’s absence put an additional squeeze on the manager’s attacking options.

Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez remain Inzaghi’s favorite attacking pairing.
However, with matches coming thick and fast, the star duo could use some rest.
Unfortunately, Mehdi Taremi hasn’t met the expectations at the San Siro.
Meanwhile, Marko Arnautovic has been out of favor.
Even though Inter failed to offload the Austrian star, he remains on the fringes of Inzaghi’s squad.
