The Netherlands, finally. Precise in his passes, involved and looked for by his teammates, good at dictating the timing of moves without forgetting his attacking play: the number 14 proved once again to be an essential piece of Koeman's team. His Orange dominated from the first minute and took the lead through Gakpo in the 20th minute, only to seal the game late on with a brace from Malen (83' and 93') after wasting several opportunities. They now move on to the quarter-finals, where they will face Turkey, who were victorious 2-1 over Austria.
