Regis Le Bris Dubs Leeds United Clash ‘Very Interesting’ As He Prepares Sunderland | OneFootball

Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris has insisted that the Black Cats’ next game in the Championship against Leeds United will be tough, but very interesting, after his team beat Luton Town 2-0 at home on Wednesday.

The Black Cats recorded a comfortable win against the Hatters at the Stadium of Light, pushing the visitors to the bottom of the table.

Sunderland, unbeaten in their last five games in the Championship, are currently placed fourth in the league table, seven points off league leaders Leeds.

Le Bris asserted that the Black Cats’ next league fixture against the Peacocks will be a thrilling challenge, as he feels his side are in a good position in the league, however the opposition are in an even better place.

He expects a tough but very interesting game next week and added that his team will take a day to recover and then use the three days to get ready for the game.

“Leeds United next will be an exciting challenge. We are in a good place but they are in a very good place”, the boss said in a post-match interview.

“It will be a tough game but very interesting.

“We now have a recovery day and then we will have three days to prepare for the game”, he added.

Le Bris’ men will be hopeful of a good result when they travel to face Leeds on Monday, after they managed to scrape a point last time they faced the Whites in the league in October.
