Real Madrid to finalise futures of 4 players next week | OneFootball

The powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid intend to finalise the futures of four long-term members of the club’s first-team setup over the course of the next week.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Toni Kroos, Nacho, Luka Modrić and Lucas Vázquez as the quartet in question.

All of these four, of course, currently find their futures in Spain’s capital up in the air.

As much comes ahead of the expiration of their respective Real Madrid contracts upon the conclusion of the campaign.

To date, a whole host of reports have been forthcoming in the media surrounding who is more likely to stay and depart, with Kroos and Vázquez in the former camp, Nacho in the latter, and Modrić’s situation altogether unclear.

With the La Liga title now in the bag, and three weeks to go before Carlo Ancelotti’s troops face off with Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final, the time has in turn come for the Blancos brass to once and for all determine the futures of their veteran performers.

As per the aforementioned Fabrizio Romano, speaking on ‘The Here We Go Podcast‘, meetings have been pencilled in with all four players for the week ahead.

Upon negotiations over their respective contract renewals being completed, whether with the intended outcome or not, announcements will then be forthcoming on the part of the capital giants, regarding plans for next season.
