Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos has managed to completely turn around his future with the club beyond the turn of the year.

That’s according to Relevo, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the latest ongoings behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.

Ceballos, for his part, was of course in from the off once more last night.

En route to a 3-2 Champions League downing of Serie A outfit Atalanta, the former Arsenal man was afforded a starting berth at the base of Real Madrid’s midfield.

And, safe to say, this is an opportunity which Ceballos went on to grasp with both hands.

Shining on both sides of the ball, the Spaniard played a key role in what marked a hugely important victory for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

This came as just the latest in a string of standout recent performances on Ceballos’ part, as the 28-year-old continues to succeed in efforts to silence his many doubters.

And such efforts have certainly not gone unappreciated behind the scenes at the Santiago Bernabéu.

In fact, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then Ceballos’ previously uncertain future beyond January now appears set in stone.

As per a report from Relevo:

‘His recent performances have upset the position of the club with respect to a hypothetical exit in the winter market. With Ceballos in rebellion and in a starting role, the situation has taken a 180 degree turn.’
