Real Madrid are set to face their decisive La Liga match of the season this weekend as they take on Barcelona at Montjuic, in a potential title decider.
Real Madrid are heading into this game with a four point deficit with top placed Barcelona, but a win could reduce that gap to just a point.
However, amid injuries and uncertainty over the future of Carlo Ancelotti, there is a bit anxiety creeping in, even though their opponents have gotten more anxious and fatigued after midweek defeat to Inter Milan.
In any case, Ancelotti remains firm and sure as ever, despite reports of him leaving at the end of the season. And on Sunday, he could take an important call, as far as the starting eleven is concerned.
According to El Chiringuito, it appears Ancelotti will start Arda Guler against Barcelona this weekend, ahead of Rodrygo Goes.

This is quite significant considering how the Italian has overlooked the Turkish international for majority of the season, citing his lack of defensive work-ethic.
But Guler’s recent performances have been too good to ignore, with the former Fenerbahce starlet most recently starring in wins over Getafe and Celta Vigo while also impressing in the Copa del Rey final after coming on.
Anceotti himself has admitted that Guler’s performances and overall gameplay have improved considerably. And therefore, he could be poised to start against Barcelona.
From a tactical standpoint, Guler is set to become a part of Real Madrid’s three-pronged attack and operate on the right channel, partnering Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe while Jude Bellingham occupies the number ten position.
Guler’s starting role is set to come at the expense of Rodrygo, who has been struggling with form and fitness all season and could be poised for a place on the bench against Barcelona after missing the Celta game through illness.
