Real Madrid starlet handed maiden first-team call-up for Rayo clash | OneFootball

A highly-regarded member of the youth setup at La Liga giants Real Madrid has been included in the club’s travelling squad to face Rayo Vallecano this weekend.

The player in question? Víctor Muñoz.

Youngster Muñoz, for his part, is a 21-year-old attacker, who generally operates on the left wing.

The Spaniard has played an important role for Real Madrid Castilla across the season to date, racking up 15 league appearances, and chipping in with two goals and an assist along the way.

And, on Friday, Muñoz has been rewarded for such endeavours.

Amid the ongoing personnel problems in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, this week added to by Kylian Mbappé, the starlet has been afforded a first-ever call-up to senior duties.

Muñoz has joined the likes of Youssef, Lorenzo Aguado and Raúl Asencio in Los Blancos’ travelling squad bound for Vallecas on Saturday.
