La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Wednesday been dealt a concerning blow on the personnel front.

This comes after Eduardo Camavinga was forced into a late departure from the club’s meeting with Getafe.

Real Madrid marked their return to action a short time ago, making the short trip to the Estadio Coliseum for a meeting with the aforementioned Getafe.

When all was said and done, Los Blancos secured a hard-fought 1-0 triumph, in the process keeping alive their slim hopes of beating out Barcelona to the La Liga title.

As alluded to above, though, en route to as much, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops were also dealt a blow.

This came on the injury front, late in the action at the Estadio Coliseum.

Following a heavy challenge in the middle of the park, Eduardo Camavinga, introduced to proceedings as a substitute, remained grounded in evident discomfort.

After attempting to run off what appeared to be a groin concern, the Frenchman was ultimately left with no choice but to limp off, leaving Real Madrid down to 10 men.

Just three days out from a Copa del Rey final showdown with none other than Barcelona, Camavinga, in turn, has seen his status thrown firmly up in the air.
