Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham on Tuesday secured for himself yet another piece of history.

As much came owing to his appearance in Real’s showdown with Bayern Munich.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops of course marked their return to action late last night, making the trip to the Allianz Arena for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final meeting with Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern.

When all was said and done, the spoils were shared in Bavaria, a 2-2 stalemate leaving the tie on a knife-edge ahead of next week’s return leg in Madrid.

The aforementioned Bellingham, for his part, did not enjoy his most productive outing on Tuesday, largely struggling to get himself into the game.

Nevertheless, though, owing simply to his appearance in the clash, the Englishman joined an altogether exclusive club.

As revealed by statisticians Opta, Bellingham has now racked up 32 appearances in the UEFA Champions League.

Of players under the age of 21, only one has managed more in the history of the competition – former Arsenal and Barcelona standout Cesc Fàbregas.
