A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid managed to add to his market value in significant fashion at this summer’s Club World Cup.
That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Fran García as the player in question.
Left-back Fran, for his part, is fresh off playing a leading role for Real Madrid at the newly-formatted Club World Cup.
En route to Los Blancos’ semi-final exit at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, the 25-year-old, in fact, featured from the off in each and every one of the club’s six fixtures.
The consummate professional, Fran took to the role afforded to him by new boss Xabi Alonso in impressive fashion on both sides of the ball.
So much so that those behind the scenes at the Santiago Bernabéu now consider the Spaniard to have bumped up his value on the market.
As per a report from AS:
‘Fran has increased his value after the Club World Cup. He’s valued at €18 million, but the club would explore selling him for a sum exceeding €25 million, approximately. They’re even considering asking for €30 million.’
