Real Madrid star hails Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Antonio Rüdiger has on Thursday opened up on his admiration for a member of the attacking ranks at arch rivals Barcelona.

The player in question? Lamine Yamal.

Wide-man Lamine, for his part, is of course in the midst of nothing short of a superb start to the new campaign.

Across starts in nine of Barcelona’s ten fixtures across all competitions, the 17-year-old has directly contributed to ten goals.

Nine such contributions have come in eight La Liga appearances, across which Lamine has wreaked havoc on opposing backlines from his berth on the right flank.

Despite his tender years, the Barca youth product is quickly making a name for himself as not only one of world football’s best youngsters, but best players full stop.

Speaking during an interview with The Inside Scoop on Thursday, the aforementioned Antonio Rüdiger, in turn, was asked for his take on Lamine’s talents.

And the Real Madrid stalwart was not shy in heaping praise on Barcelona’s attacking sensation, responding:

”Lamine Yamal? You have to say… Yamal has a huge future ahead of him. InShaAllah he stays healthy. The player he is is already there at 17. He has a bright future.”
