Yet another UEFA Champions League knockout match. Yet another historic comeback from Real Madrid.

Having gone behind to Bayern Munich, Los Blancos pulled off a 2-1 win at the Santiago Bernabeu last night to book their ticket to the UCL finals in Wembley.

Joselu was the saviour for Real Madrid, scoring a quickfire brace late in the game after coming on as a substitute to win it for his team.

The Spanish centre-forward, who was in the audience supporting the Merengues in the UCL finals in Paris two years ago, managed to help the team secure a place in the finals where they will face Borussia Dortmund.

Naturally, it was an emotional evening for Joselu and his celebrations after scoring the goal said everything.

And once the final whistle went, the striker was overcome with emotions, as he fell on the pitch in tears, having led the team to the finals of the Champions League.

Speaking to the media after the match, Joselu touched upon how he was in the stands supporting Real Madrid two years ago and now gets to experience the final more closely.

“Two years ago I had the opportunity to support Real Madrid and now I’m going to live it more closely,” Joselu stated.

“One dreams of having nights like this, in my dreams they are not so beautiful,” he added.

Touching upon the season he has had, the striker remarked: “I have 17 goals, don’t take it away from me, I have always said it, I have come to help, to contribute. I am happy and I continue working, we are league champions and we are in the Champions League final.”
