According to a report from Ramon Fuentes in Mundo Deportivo, it has been learned that Dani Ceballos will not be leaving Real Madrid this summer.
The outlet mentions that the Spanish midfielder remains in the club’s plans and is expected to play an important role under new manager Xabi Alonso.
Even with Real Madrid exploring options to reinforce the midfield, especially after the departure of Luka Modric, Ceballos is not for sale.
Ceballos is under contract until 2027, and the club is in no rush to part ways with him. With the FIFA Club World Cup on the horizon, Real Madrid want a strong, stable squad and Ceballos fits into that vision.
The midfielder has already shown that he can step up when called upon, and Alonso seems keen to rely on him in the new project.

Ceballos had a decent 2024/25 campaign, especially before his muscle injury in March. He clocked 1,960 minutes across 40 appearances and proved his value as a dependable option in the middle of the pitch.
Though the injury kept him out for over a month, he returned before the end of the season and contributed in multiple competitions.
His Champions League appearances totalled nine games and he also featured in the Copa del Rey (five games), Spanish Super Cup (two games), and the UEFA Super Cup.
With Modric set to be on his way out, Real Madrid are expected to sign a new midfielder, with Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller being tipped as the most likely candidate.
Still, Ceballos’ place looks secure. His form and attitude have helped him regain importance at the club, and he will have a big opportunity to shine again, especially in the upcoming Club World Cup in the United States.
