Thibaut Courtois is set for another lengthy absence from Real Madrid after leaving the training ground ‘crying’ due to suffering an injury Tuesday afternoon.
The 31-year-old has already been on the sidelines long-term with an ACL tear suffered in August, and the club have now confirmed that the keeper has torn his meniscus, this time in the other knee.
Courtois was soon to be considered for a return to the Real Madrid squad after nearly completing his recovery, but this setback will likely force him to repeat that process.
Luckily for Ancelotti, his side currently sit eight points clear in LaLiga with just nine games remaining.
