A remarkable statistic, highlighting the significance of the exploits of incoming Real Madrid striker Endrick on the international front this past week, has come to the fore online.

Youngster Endrick, of course, took his place front and centre in the headlines across world football over the course of recent days.

As much came after the frontman, still just 17, notched both his first and 2nd goals in the colours of Brazil.

His maiden Seleção strike came against England, and proved enough to guide Dorival’s troops to a 1-0 triumph at Wembley.

Then, a matter of days later, Endrick was at it once more, in lashing home a fine finish off the bench en route to a 3-3 stalemate with Spain.

With the latter having come at none other than the Santiago Bernabéu – his home for next season – those of a Real Madrid persuasion have not been at all shy in making their excitement regarding the club’s latest up-and-coming addition very much known.

Los Blancos, though, are not the only set of supporters already enamoured with Endrick.

So too are the Brazil faithful, amid the widespread agreement that the teen possesses all of the traits required to develop into the country’s next superstar.

And, as alluded to above, owing to his early Seleção exploits, Endrick has already established himself amongst some altogether elite company.

As revealed by Relevo:

‘Only two players in the history of the ‘Canarinha’ have scored in two consecutive games whilst under the age of 18.’

The players in question? Pelé, in 1957, and Endrick, this past week.
